Web Accessibility Resources

Section 508 of the 1973 Rehabilitation Act took effect in June of 2001. A presentation was made at the CATS Conference in March of that year to detail the 508 requirements for websites, and to discuss ways to address the issue on the CSU campuses. ADA continues to be an important topic and hands-on and presentation sessions have been held at each subsequent CATS. In addition, a number of TIGERS grants pertaining to ADA have been funded. Below are links to the output of these projects.

CSU Accessible Technology Initiative Website

The Accessible Technology Initiative (ATI) reflects the California State University's (CSU) ongoing commitment to provide access to information resources and technologies to individuals with disabilities.
