14th Annual CATS Conference Looks to the Future
CATS2011 will be held online April 12-14 using Elluminate Live! The year’s theme is “Next Generation CATS.”
The Community of Academic Technology Staff (CATS) conferences focus on the themes, issues, and technological and educational advances influencing the direction of academic technology. The conference showcases projects, experiences, and successful strategies of members.
There is no registration cost.
Program Focus
This year’s tracks encourage presentations on topics like LMS, social networking, mobile technology, cloud computing, etc. Tracks are:
- Next Gen Technologies (the changing face of instruction)
- Nuts & Bolts Technology (the how to's)
- Academic Technology & Learning Outcomes (new modes for instruction/learning)
- LMS (best practices)
- Universal Design/Accessibility (broad spectrum of solutions)
- Bonus (professional/career development and more)
