Annual CATS Conferences focus on the major themes, issues, and technological and educational advances influencing the direction of academic technology. The conferences are "for the staff and by the staff," with community members developing the conference program, and presenting, conducting workshops, and facilitating all aspects of the event.
Conference goals include providing information and training about current and emerging technologies, and sharing strategies to support faculty use of technology. They also provide networking opportunities, enabling peers at different campuses and institutions to solve common problems.
CATS2013 was comprised of 3 regional events. Presentation materials are available for most of the sessions.
CATS2012 took place at 3 regional meetings and at a 1-day virtual event. Archives of presentations given virtually are available for viewing. See the CATS2012 Evaluation Report (pdf) or an Executive Summary (pdf) version.
