About the Conference

CATS conferences focus on the major themes, issues, topics, and technological and educational advances influencing the direction of academic technology. The conference is "for the staff and by the staff," with CATS members actively encouraged to present and conduct workshops, facilitate panel discussions, and to work collaboratively in planning and developing the conference program.

Conference goals include providing useful information and training about current and emerging technologies, and sharing strategies to support faculty use of technology. Another important goal is to provide networking opportunities, enabling peers at different campuses and institutions to solve problems they all face.
