CATS2009 Conference
The 12th annual CATS conference was held online May 6-8. More than 280 people officially registered and even more attended the free sessions.

Congratulations to Max Tsai, Information Architect at CSU Fresno's Digital Campus, and Charles Roberts, Programmer at Sacramento State, recipients of CATS' Outstanding Professional Awards! The OPA recognizes excellent staff contributions on individual CSU campuses, such as for work on a specific project or for consistently excellent performance of their duties. Winners are honored for their
- Impact, such as improved productivity for themselves and others on their campus and perhaps at other CSUs
- Effect on Teaching and Learning, such as improved student outcomes or the creation of models, learning objects, or systems that benefit their campus
