13th Annual CATS Conference Goes Virtual!

CATS2010 will be held online, April 13-15, using Elluminate Live! This year's theme is "CATS Be Nimble: A.T. in a Challenging Climate."

The Community of Academic Technology Staff (CATS) conferences focus on the major themes, issues, topics, as well as the technological and educational advances influencing the direction of academic technology. The conference showcases projects, experiences, and interests of members.

There is no registration cost for those who work in the California State University system.

Program Focus

Conference tracks are intended to focus on those categories that have strategic importance within the CSU academic technology community. This year's tracks are:

  • Academic Technology & Learning Outcomes (e.g., pedagogy)
  • Universal Design & Accessibility
  • Professional/Personal/Career Development
  • Technology (e.g., nuts & bolts)
  • Bonus....

This year CATS will introduce the Pecha Kucha format for some sessions. An online session will be held in January or February to introduce the format to interested presenters.
